PTI Make it Monday #211 - Using Gelatos with Stamps

For this week's challenge, Melissa Phillips demonstrates a quick and simple technique using Gelatos to add depth and a warm, beautiful glow to your paper projects.  Click this link to watch the video.

I decided to follow Melissa's lead and create a tag.  I choose the fancy bookmark die; it's one of my favorites.  I just love the little stitching details and the shape of this die.  I stamped the upper portion of the tag using Hawaiian Shores ink.  Then, I took out my Bitty Bouquets stamps and used a variety of colors (Limeade Ice, Spring Moss, Lavender Moon, Spring Rain, Hibiscus Burst, & Summer Sunrise) to stamp the flowers.  Next, I used my set of tropical Gelatos to highlight the flowers and leaves.  I cut and stamped small flags and stamped them with sentiments from Happy Days.  Finally, I added the aqua mist button and some ribbon and twine.  Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.  Hope you have a blessed week and Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there!
