2015 Papertrey Ink 8th Anniversary Challenge Day 1

I am so super excited to be celebrating PTI's 8th anniversary!  Learning more about the amazing design team, getting sneak peaks of product releases, seeing inspirational new projects, participating in contest challenges, and chatting with others has been such fun!  And it's only day 2. (I am posting one day behind.)  For day 1, the challenge was to combine a color recipe and a sketch recipe to create a new project.  There are 8 beautiful color recipes and sketches to choose from, so it took a little while for me to make a decision.  These are the ones I finally settled on.

I used Simply Chartruese as my background base and stamped the Lemon Tart cardstock using stamps from Cuppa Love in Hawaiian Shores and Aqua Mist.  I then cut the stamped cardstock into two separate panels.  My sentiment is from the Shakers and Sprinkles Make-It Market kit (stamp and die).  The word "Scatter" looks at bit brighter blue on my monitor than it does in person.  It was cut from Hawaiian Shores and Simply Chartruese.  Enamel dots in chartruese and dark teal were added along with a simple sheer ribbon.

  1. I like the recipes you chose. Your card is really pretty! I love the color combination you used for the flowers.
