Today's challenge is to "build" a bouquet on a card cover. Wow! After viewing all of the design team's beautiful projects, I'm really inspired to create some pretty spring flowers. Betsy has amazed me once again with this new Bitty Bouquet set and I am totally loving the new vellum by Danielle.
I knew I wanted to create a simple, yet pretty spring card with a flower bouquet. Surprisingly, I don't really have any flower sets and dies. I dug through my stache' and decided to use my Tinsel and Tags Sprigs stamps and dies to build me bouquet. I don't often use patterned paper because I usually allow my stamped images to take center stage; however, I knew my bouquet would be small, and when I found this paper with the pretty pink stripes and purple dots, I had to use it.
After building my bouquet, I die cut a fillable frame on which to stamp my sentiment and decided to add the little bow from the Tinsel and Tags Sprigs set as well. I think I'll write a sweet note and send this one to my aunt who lives far away.
Very striking AND pretty! :0)
