Make It Monday #199: Confetti Garlands

This week at PTI, Besty Veldman challeged us to create confetti garlands for our cards.  This is a great technique for adding a bit of fun and whimsy to your cards.  Here's the video link:

For my card, I began with an A2 sized card base cut from Royal Velvet cardstock.  I then cut a journal card from white cardstock using a Lawn Fawn die and placed it at an angle.  Next, I created streamers in Royal Velvet and gold glitter cardstock using a Sizzix border die.  I cut the word "Shine!" using my die from Sparkle and Shine.  The gold stars and confetti were cut using the center of the oval die from Shakers and Sprinkles.  The circles on my garland were cut using a circle die from Songbirds.  I like Betsy's idea of adding the garland your cards.  I think it makes them a little more special.
